2012 SALTWATER FISHING EXPO
The SALTWATER FISHING EXPO will be held on Saturday Feb. 25th from 8 AM to 3 PM at the Annapolis Elks Lodge. This event has grown into one of the most popular Winter Fishing Shows in this area featuring expert Seminar Speakers, Top Quality Tackle Dealers and local Charter Captains and Guides. This is the major yearly fund raiser for the chapter and every additional attendee increases our ability to fund Chapter Events. CHAPTER MEETING FEB 15th
The Annapolis Chapter of the MSSA will meet at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 15th at American Legion Post #7 at Route 450 and Crownsville Road in Annapolis. Dave Smith, MSSA’s Executive Director will be the guest speaker and will cover key topics of importance to the organization including upcoming tournaments, legislative update, fisheries issues, and other matters. We will also spend time at the February meeting preparing for the upcoming Saltwater Expo sponsored by the Annapolis chapter. Please join us. Everyone is welcome.
Chapter Meetings
The Annapolis Chapter welcomes all new and existing members to become active participants in this fun and informative Fishing Club & Conservation Organization. One of the easiest ways to participate is to join us at our Monthly Meeting. The Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Annapolis American Legion Post #7. Here are some of the ways that you will benefit by attending:
- Learn new Tips & Techniques from local Charter Captains & Expert Anglers.
- Remain informed about Fisheries and Conservation Issues from State and Regional Officials.
- Hear Bay and Ocean Fishing Reports on where and how fish are being caught.
- Build your Network of Fishing Buddies to call when you are having a slow day on the water.
- Provide inputs on how the MSSA can best represent your interests & concerns.
- Enjoy a cold drink or two and swap fishing stories/lies with your buddies.
From Annapolis: Take West Street West to Rt. 450 (across from Annapolis Mall). Turn left onto Route 450 (Defense Hwy) and continue 2 miles to Crownsville Rd. At the Traffic Light, turn right onto Crownsville Rd. Post 7 is on the right ¼ mile down Crownsville Rd.
From Washington: Rt. 50 East to Exit 23 (Rt. 450 / Parole). Stay in the right lane on the exit ramp and bear right onto West Street. Take West Street West to Rt. 450 (across from Annapolis Mall). Turn left onto Rt. 450 (Defense Hwy) and continue 2 miles to Crownsville Rd. At the Traffic Light, turn right onto Crownsville Rd. Post 7 is on the right ¼ mile down Crownsville Rd.
From Baltimore: Route I-97 South towards Annapolis. Take the MD-178 exit (exit 5) towards Crownsville. Turn right onto Crownsville Road and go 2.7 miles. Post 7 is on the left.
