CHAPTER MEETING June 19th
The June 19th meeting will feature Shawn Kimbro. I really do not think I need to introduce Shawn. He is simply one of the top, light tackle, amateur fisherman on the bay. Shawn has a new Power Point presentation called "The Right Stuff, Gear, Tackle, and Attitudes for Successful Light Tackle Fishing". This is a DO NOT MISS presentation. Shawn will have copies of his book to sell and he will personally sign them. I have read the book and it is not only informative, but it is sprinkled with wonderful humor. Once again I have asked a top quality vendor, George Leonard of "Specialized Baits", to offer his top quality jigs and jig heads along with a selection of custom metal jigs at show prices. George will be available before and after the program.
To make your monthly chapter meeting even more enjoyable and rewarding there will be over $200.00 worth of door prizes and as always a 50/50. Food and drink is available at the Legion Hall at reasonable prices. Come early and have dinner. American Legion Post 7, 1905 Crownsville Road, Crownsville, MD. Meeting starts at 7:30 SHARP.
SUMMER FISHING TRIP
July 17th is MSSA Annapolis summer fishing trip out of Chesapeake Beach, Rod and Reel Club. I have four boats booked. As of today I have 38 deposits. That leaves 2 slots open. If you would like to join us, email me and I will advise you if any slots are still open. The trip is from 1-7pm and everything is included, but food and drink. We live line for Rock and then go bottom fishing for the rest of the trip. The cost is $85.00 for MSSA Annapolis members and family. Guests and non members are $110.00.

Intra-Chapter EVAN Tournament
2013 Annapolis Chapter MSSA/Evan Foundation Tournament – Once again the Annapolis Chapter of the MSSA teamed up with the Evan Foundation to raise funds for research into neuroblastoma-a rare and deadly pediatric cancer. This year's spring trophy rockfish tournament featured a slightly different format with more sponsors and an event-ending cookout for tournament participants. It turned out to be a great tournament with tough competition. Dale Dirks took home the trophy, but the real winner was The Evan Foundation. We raised $6000 to help with the fight this year. Way to go everybody!
